Group 4: Key strategies (Button D): Ensuring inclusive and sustainable development

Group 4 of the key strategies aims to achieve the subregional vision for the future in the social, economic and security settings. It is made up of the following three key strategies:

• Key Strategy 8: Support small and medium-sized enterprises, develop human resources in the economic sector and improve social services to enable more people to participate in the new development opportunities associated with the development of the sub-regional corridor.
• Key Strategy 9: Establish environmental management systems and activities capable of responding to increasing risks in the natural and social environment potentially associated with developing the sub-regional corridor.
• Key Strategy 10: Strengthen security measures to maintain stable and safe societies and ensure sustainable economic development in the sub-region.
