The West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA) is a West African organization created on January 10, 1994 whose mission is to achieve the economic integration of Member States, through the strengthening of the competitiveness of economic activities in the framework of an open and competitive market and a streamlined and harmonized legal environment.
